Baseplate: 5 / 10

Base Plate:

This nylon injected baseplate features a 14% glass fill and regrind free injection moulding, balancing response with flexibility and delivering consistent and dependable durability.

Highback:

The Nation highback features a mid flex that delivers more freedom of movement for tweaks and presses, while retaining response for mountain riding.

Ratchets: Cast Aluminium Ratchets

These ratchets are lightweight, smooth, and durable.

Straps: Injected Straps

Fix injected straps deliver lightweight comfort without sacrificing performance. These straps stretch as the ratchets are tightened, evenly distributing pressure and eliminating pressure points.

Cushioning: EVA Footbed Padding

Paint Free Nylon:

Fix doesn’t paint the major components of its bindings for a few reasons. 1. Nylon gets stronger with age, and sealing in that Nylon would prevent the aging improvement process. 2. Paint scratches and chips, nylon doesn’t. 3. Paints and lacquers are toxic, and foregoing these is another step in the direction of environmental responsibility.

Highback Rotation:

Rotate your highbacks for optimal lateral movement with this simple to adjust system. Lining up your highbacks to the heel edge of your board allows your legs to move more freely.

DethGrip Hardware:

Fix uses a special type of hardware called DethGrip, which holds tighter and results in you having to tighten your screws less often.

Lifetime Warranty:

Fix offer a lifetime warranty on both buckles and base trays. These buckles are tested up to 28,000 clicks in a lab environment, and the base trays are virtually unbreakable under normal use.
