Nitro Phantom Carver 2023

The 2023 Nitro Phantom Carver was designed for one reason, to give you the best experience when carving quickly and aggressively on your snowboard. Specifically engineered for you to get from edge to edge with little to no effort, the Carver stiffens up the original Phantom binding with a more responsive highback and straps in order for you to get instant response from your bindings. If you are looking for a binding that will burn down any groomer and give you peace of mind when trying to break personal speed records, the Phantom Carver will have you moving with next level power and response.

Flex: Stiff – 8/10 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)

Board Compatibility: This binding uses the Nitro Mini Disc with Angle Lock, which is compatible with boards featuring a 2×4 mounting system. Compatible with Burton Channel system when using the Nitro Channel Mini Disc (Sold separately – click here). Not compatible with 4×4 mounting systems.

Base Plate: Glass Fibre Reinforced Air 2.0 Base Frame

The Baseplate on the Phantom binding is a serious piece of equipment. This bomb-proof design boasts not only supreme durability and response but supreme comfort too, featuring dual air dampening in the toe and heel to provide lightweight shock absorption.

High Back: X-Beam Carbon Highback

The X-Beam Carbon Highback takes the regular X-Beam Highback and knocks it up a notch with the addition of carbon for extra response with minimal added weight.

Buckles: Forged Aluminium Speedwheel Buckles

Made from super light and strong aluminium combined with a smooth polymer speedwheel, these buckles are lightweight, durable, won’t slip, and won’t strip.

Easy Entry Ratchets: Designed to stay out of the way when stepping in and out of your bindings, Nitro uses S curved ratchets straps for ease of access. The wide-mouth buckle funnel helps you guide the ratchet for an ultra fast, precise bite of your buckles. Less time strapping in, more time riding!

The Premium Locked Down Ankle Strap is designed for maximum response and control. Made with thermo-foam for comfort, a fiber-reinforced 3D spine for response, and an asymmetric design for ultimate fit, this strap delivers pinnacle performance.

Übergrip Toe Strap by Vibram

Developed in conjunction with Vibram, this toe strap combines the shape and feel of Nitros most popular to strap concept with Xstrek rubber from Vibram for superior fit, comfort, and grip through vibrations, hard landings, and wet and cold conditions.

Cable Reinforced Connectors

Over moulded stainless steel cables are placed inside of the ratchets and connector straps, eliminating stretch and allowing them to bend without breaking.

3° Canted Footbed

This angled footbed puts your knees and body in the most natural and ergonomic position on the board, reducing fatigue and letting you ride longer.

Board Saver Technology

The corners of the baseplate are rounded to reduce a hard friction point where the binding and board meet. This allows the board to flex more naturally around the binding, resulting in a more natural ride and less stress on the board.

4mm Heel Rise

4mm of rise in the heel put you in a more natural carving position and allows you to quickly get into a heelside turn and go deeper with reduced drag.
