Union Falcor 2021

The 2021 Union Falcor was designed and built with one simple thing in mind – Trust Travis. This ultra-high-performance binding is the product of many years of fine-tuned development from Travis Rice and the entire Union team. Only the best materials and technology have been used in the creation of this binding, and believe us, no one holds a bar to it in comparison. Multiple density materials used in the baseplate and highback give a perfect flex pattern so it is responsive under any condition and used in any way.  A combination of glass-injected nylon and Forged Carbon creates an asymmetric highback that gives lateral flexibility while still giving incredible heel-to-toe edge control. With the addition of a new Fused Vaporite dampening baseplate bushing and lightweight, ultra-grippy straps you get a binding that is truly unlike anything else that is available today.

Baseplate:

Stage 6 Duraflex CB

The Stage 6 Duraflex baseplate achieves a strength to weight ratio never before seen in snowboard bindings. Using a new manufacturing process called Microfused Injection, Union focus the injection entry point around the disk ring where you need strength the most, resulting in multiple single-piece layers that are stronger and lighter than normal binding manufacturing processes can produce. Union have used a Duraflex / Carbon blend, resulting in a baseplate that is considerably lighter and stiffer than a typical fibreglass injected nylon baseplate.

Forged Hybrid Highbacks

A combination of Duraflex Nylon and Forged Carbon in an asymmetric shape that is flexible for lateral rotation but solid for edge to edge control, giving you powerful performance that allows you to ride how you want.

Buckles:

Magnesium 2.0 Ratchets

A construction process completely unique to Union allows them to make their ratchets out of Magnesium, resulting in a product that is 4 times stronger than aluminium while being half the weight. Not only that, it’s easily recycled so the environment benefits too. The 2.0 version is lighter still, with a further 10% weight reduction over previous versions.

The brand new FormaLAB ankle straps and Hexgrip toe straps provide the security and comfort you’d expect but with reduced weight, materials, and a better boot to binding connection with none of the elastic stretching found in regular straps. The HexGrip strap provides security and comfort with reduced weight, materials, and a better boot to binding connection, while the secure-lock system on the toe strap doubles the connection strength, so your bindings are more durable and dependable than ever.

Fused Vaporlite +

An industry-first fused bushing system that sets a new standard for how a snowboard binding should function and perform. These bushings use an injection moulding process (similar to the way plastic parts are created) making them more waterproof, durable, and precise than any other EVA material on the market. This is next level binding tech that absorbs chatter like no other while maintaining the natural flex of your board.
